Abstract: ABSTRACT "POLYMER-FREE BIOCOMPOSITE MATERIAL DERIVED FROM COFFEE PLANT WASTE AND METHOD THEREOF" A biocomposite material free from synthetic polymers and chemical binders, and method thereof, being an addition to Indian Patent No. 571921. The biocomposite comprises a primary coffee plant waste component selected from spent coffee grounds, green coffee spent, coffee husk, coffee pulp, coffee parchment, coffee cascara, coffee mucilage, coffee chaff, or combinations thereof (40–70%); a structural component of coconut shell powder, groundnut shell, or coir (20–50%); and a natural binder of wheat flour, wheat gluten, banana peel, or rice bran (5–30%). The waste is collected from any source, pre-treated, mixed, and compression moulded into home-compostable products. Cohesion arises from wheat gelatinization and lignin self-binding. The uncoated product resists fungal growth, is dimensionally stable and leak-proof, and is home-compostable within 42–180 days depending on feedstock.
