MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531130754 A) filed by Dr. Pradeep Kumar Naik; and Dibya Ranjan Sahoo, Sambalpur, Odisha, on Dec. 23, 2025, for 'polyherbal tea composition for the management of arthritis and process of preparation thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to anherbal tea composition for the management of arthritis and process of preparation thereof; designed to deal with arthritis and related aggravated joint problems. This blend comprises the synergistic mix with various herbs like: green tea, Sugandhi Rasna, Daruhaldi, Ashwagandha, Pippali, Golmarich, Dalchini, Sunthi, Laung, Elaichi, Peppermint, Nutmeg, Stevia leaves, and some extempore Vitamin C and dietary fillers. This strong mixture has several properties including, but not limited to, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and immuno-modulatory activities. This invention is also appropriate for therapeutic pains since this herbal tea to relieve to joint arthritis related pains, swelling, and stiffness, and oxidative stress problems."
