MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517058437 A) filed by Shpp Global Technologies B. V., Bergen op Zoom, Netherlands, on June 18, for 'polyetherimide and composition and article made therefrom.'
Inventor(s) include Kleinsasser, Jack F; Singh, Rajendra Kashinath; Patil, Dadasaheb V; Johnson, Peter; and Hoogland, Gabrie.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A polyetherimide includes repeating units derived from a dianhydride selected from 4,4'- ((propane-2,2-diylbis(4,1-phenylene))bis(oxy))bis(isobenzofuran-1, 3-dione); or 4,4'-([1,1'- biphenyl]-4,4'-diylbis(oxy))bis(isobenzofuran-1, 3-dione); a first diamine including 9,9-bis(4- aminophenyl)fiuorene; and a second diamine including di aminodiphenyl ether, 4,4'- diaminodiphenyl sulfone, meta-phenylene diamine, or para-phenylene diamine. The polyetherimide can exhibit a desirable combination of properties. Methods of making the polyetherimide and polymer compositions and articles including the polyetherimide are also disclosed."
