MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517059816 A) filed by Firmenich Sa, Satigny, Switzerland, on June 23, for 'polyamide-based microcapsules.'
Inventor(s) include Etchenausia, Laura; Nicolae, Anaick; Jacquemond, Marlene; Valmacco, Valentina; and Ouali, Lahoussine.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a new process for the preparation of polyamide-based microcapsules. Polyamide-based microcapsules are also an object of the invention. Perfuming compositions and consumer products comprising said microcapsules, in particular perfumed consumer products in the form of home care or personal care products, are also part of the invention."
The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 12, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/085268.
