MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641062194 A) filed by Srm University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, on May 15, for 'plasmonic nano-agglomerates and a process for their preparation.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to plasmonic nano-agglomerates and a process for their preparation. The plasmonic nano-agglomerates of the present disclosure exhibit tunable plasmonic coupling properties, fixed nanoscale inter-particle gaps, and highly reproducible surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) performance. Further, the present disclosure provides a simple and economic process for the preparation of plasmonic nano-agglomerates."
