MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010726 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'plant decor device.'
Inventor(s) include Puneet Agarwal.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A plant decor device, comprising a rectangular plate 1 associated with device and configured with a pair of pins 2 via a pair of rack and pinion gear arrangements 3, a proximity sensor positioned on plate 1 for detecting presence of plate 1 in contact with soil, a communication module integrated with microcontroller for establishing a wireless communication module between microcontroller and computing unit, multiple pneumatic blocks 4 installed on plate 1 to extend/retract in view of constructing user-selected shape between blocks 4, a camera 5 mounted on plate 1 for capturing multiple images of plant, a telescopically operated gripper 6 for inserting stem in constructed shape to allow plant to grow in user-selected shape, a moisture sensor configured on plate 1 for detecting moisture level of soil and an electronic nozzle 7 attached with a chamber 8 stored for dispensing water on soil."
