MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105636 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 31, 2025, for 'pizza slice storage and preparation device.'

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pizza slice storage and preparation device comprising, a set of triangular frames 101 connected by electromagnets 102, at the sides of frame 101 for attachment, a laser sensor detects slice's dimensions, a drawer arrangement 103 with each of the frame 101 adjusts the size of the frame 101, a curved member 104 at the opening carved in the frame 101, with hinge joints 105 adjusts position based on the slice's placement, a touch sensor triggers the member 104 to close to secure the slice, a motorized two-axis slider 106 with the ceiling of frame 101, a multi-sectioned chamber 107 attached to dispense flavouring agent on slice through an iris lid 108, an electronically controlled nozzle 109, attached to a multi-sectioned container 110 to dispense condiments, a telescopically operated pins 111 extends into the slice to assess firmness, a tactile sensor detects hardness, and a speaker 112 generates audio notification."
