MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024693 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 27, 2024, for 'pitcher pump operating assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Ajay Agrawal; and Poonam Gupta.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pitcher pump operating assistive device comprises a platform 1 configured with plurality of wheels 2 to move the platform 1 on a surface, a touch interactive display panel 3 mounted on the platform 1 for user input, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 determine position of a pitcher pump, a LiDAR sensor determines distance of the pitcher pump from the platform 1, a pair of telescopically operated rods 5 positions a pair of C-shaped clamps 6, a drawer arrangement 7 integrated in the clamps 6 for enclosing the cylinder, a robotic arm 8 acquires a grip of a bucket, a telescopically operated L-shaped pole 9 integrated on the platform 1 for positioning an expandable C-shaped member 10, a laser measurement sensor determines dimensions of the handle, a motorized hinge joint 11 provides reciprocating movement to the member 10, and an ultrasonic sensor monitors level of water in the bucket."
