MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411071899 A) filed by Microlit; Aadhar Jain; Atul Jain; and Anupama Jain, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, on Sept. 23, 2024, for 'pipette filling device with solenoid valves.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pipette filling device with solenoid valves, comprising of a housing configured to releasably hold a serological pipette; a motor-driven pump within the housing for generating vacuum or pressure; plunger buttons movably mounted on the housing, each with a magnet; hall sensors positioned to detect magnetic fields from the magnets upon plunger depression; a microcontroller electrically connected to the hall sensors and configured to process signals therefrom; and solenoid valves controlled by the microcontroller, the solenoid valves being normally closed and energized to open fluid pathways for aspiration or dispensing based on the processed signals."
