MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411071898 A) filed by Microlit; Aadhar Jain; Atul Jain; and Anupama Jain, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, on Sept. 23, 2024, for 'pipette filling device with hall sensor.'
Inventor(s) include Aadhar Jain; and Atul Jain.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pipette filling device for real-time adjustment of aspiration and dispensing speeds, comprising ofa housing configured to releasably hold a serological pipette; a motor-driven pump within the housing for generating vacuum or pressure to aspirate or dispense liquid through the serological pipette; at least one plunger button movably mounted on the housing for user actuation; a magnet affixed to an end of the at least one plunger button; a Hall sensor positioned adjacent to the path of the magnet, the Hall sensor configured to generate a voltage proportional to a magnetic field strength from the magnet, wherein the voltage varies inversely with a distance between the magnet and the Hall sensor as the plunger button is depressed or released; and a microcontroller electrically connected to the Hall sensor and the pump, the microcontroller configured to interpret the voltage and modulate the pump speed continuously in proportion thereto, such that a decreased distance results in increased pump speed for faster liquid flow."
