MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511127102 A) filed by Rayat Bahra University; Bahra University; and Rayat Bahra Professional University, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 15, 2025, for 'pipe securing device.'

Inventor(s) include Printy Dhadwal; Monika Pandit; Shivani Rani; and Gurjeet Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pipe securing device comprises of a body 101 positioned on a surface and installed with multiple telescopic rods 102, a display panel 103 to enable a user to provide input command, an imaging unit 104 for detecting positioning of the pipes, a L-shaped extendable frame 106 equipped with a pair of gripping means 107, a pneumatic unit to extend/retract in view of aligning the griping means 107 above the set of pipes and allowing the gripping means 107 to grip ends of tying string positioned with the set of pipes, a disc 108 mounted in between the frame 106 and the gripping means 107, a motorized circular sliding unit 109 installed in between the gripping means 107 and the disc 108 to provide movement to the gripping means 107 in view of securely wrapping the tying string around the set of pipes in a secured manner."
