MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531024849 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 19, for 'pipe painting apparatus.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Pragyan Senapati.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pipe painting apparatus, comprising, a pair of plates 101 having L-shaped cross-section with each of plates 101 is provided with a motorised expansion pulley 102 along a vertical surface to enable mounting of a pipe between plates 101 for rotation of pipe, an ultrasonic sensor embedded to detect an inner diameter, a plurality of pneumatic pins 103 provided for stabilisation, a rectangular base 104 having a four motorized omnidirectional wheels 105 underneath base 104 for locomotion, a container 106 provided for containing paint, an L-shaped telescopic arm 107 configured via a ball and socket joint, a paint roller 108 is disposed for painting, an imaging unit 109 installed for processing images,a microphone 110 linked to provide for receiving an audio command."
