MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019316 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'pipe loading and unloading device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pipe loading and unloading device, comprising a U-shaped platform 1 installed with a trailer portion of a by means of suction cups 2, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 3 determines presence of any pipe in proximity to platform 1 as well presence of pipes pre-loaded on platform 1, a touch interactive display panel 4 accessed by user to input details regarding a mode of operation user desires to perform, a pair of telescopic rods 5 extend for positioning plate 6 that accommodates pipe on plate 6 which is detected by a weight sensor, a pair of motorized hinge joint 7 tilting plate 6 for translating pipe over platform 1, and pair of motorized sliding units 9 arranged on sides for providing movement to bars 8 in a manner that aids in translation of pipe over platform 1 that aids successful loading of pipe."
