MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007814 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 5, 2024, for 'pipe joining device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pipe joining device, comprising a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface, a touch enabled screen 2 is mounted on platform 1 that is accessed by a user for entering command regarding initiation of coupling process of rubber hose with T-hose joiner, a laser projector 3 mounted on platform 1 to project a virtual image on platform 1 to indicate an appropriate place where hose joiner needs to be positioned by user, a camera 4 for capturing multiple images of platform 1 to detect successful positioning of hose joiner on the indicated place, a horizontal extendable plate 5 mapped on platform 1 and hinged with a pair of vertical motorized clamps 6 to grip rubber hose in a secure manner and an ultrasonic sensor fabricated on plate 5 for detecting dimension of hose joiner."
