MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517076683 A) filed by Element Six Gmbh, Burghaun, Germany, on Aug. 12, for 'pick tool.'
Inventor(s) include Wingenfeld, Markus; Weinbach, Eric; Ludwig, Michael; and Ries, Bernd Heinrich.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a pick tool comprising a holder body comprising a shank; a strike body attached to an end of the holder body opposing the shank; and a wear protection body comprising: an upper surface; a lower surface; and a throughhole extending from the upper surface to the lower surface through which the shank of the holder body is inserted; wherein a ratio of a diameter of the shank adjacent the throughhole of the wear protection body to the thickness of the wear protection body is less than 1.5, a processing assembly comprising a plurality of said pick tools, and a use of the processing assembly in mining or boring into the earth or processing pavement."
