The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a phytogenic feed additive blend for ruminants, particularly buffaloes, containing active phytochemicals from Cinnamomum verum, Sapindusmukorossi, and Ficus bengalensis. The supplementation of this blend demonstrates a reduction in in vivo methane production and an enhancement in t-vaccenic acid, a precursor of conjugated linoleic acid, thereby providing a natural and effective solution for addressing methane emissions and improving the fatty acid profile of animal products."
