MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547088230 A) filed by Nokia Technologies Oy, Espoo, Finland, on Sept. 16, for 'physical uplink shared channel transmission.'

Inventor(s) include Hakola, Sami-Jukka; Karjalainen, Juha Pekka; and Koskela, Timo.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Various example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to information related to physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission. An apparatus obtains information related to a PUSCH transmission from the apparatus to a network device. The PUSCH transmission is associated with a plurality of antenna ports that are partially coherent and comprise more than four antenna ports. The apparatus transmits, based on the information and to the network device, the PUSCH transmission. The solution for information related to PUSCH transmission can facilitate PTRS signal to a higher number of panels (e.g., more than two) simultaneously, and can enable throughput enhancements in the scenarios PTRS is needed to facilitate phase noise mitigation at a receiver."

The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 21, 2024, under International application No.PCT/IB2024/051681.
