MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517045111 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on May 9, for 'physical downlink shared channel (pdsch) transmission method and apparatus.'
Inventor(s) include Li Mingju.
The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed in embodiments of the present application are a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission method and apparatus. First indication information sent by a network device is received the first indication information being used for indicating at least one first TCI state; second indication information sent by the network device is received the second indication information being used for a terminal device to determine use of a target transmission method for a PDSCH; and a second TCI state corresponding to the PDSCH transmitted by using the target transmission method is determined from the at least one first TCI state the second TCI state being used for the terminal device to receive the PDSCH. Thus when the network device indicates multiple sets of TCI states the terminal device used for transmission by using multiple TRPs can determine the TCI state corresponding to the PDSCH transmitted by using the target transmission method so as to complete the transmission of the PDSCH thereby increasing the flexibility of PDSCH transmission and improving the performance of PDSCH transmission."
The patent application was internationally filed on Oct. 14, 2022, under International application No.PCT/CN2022/125498.
