MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202534031922 A) filed by Largan Precision Co. Ltd., Taichung City, Taiwan, on March 31, 2025, for 'photographing optical lens assembly, image capturing unit and electronic device.'
Inventor(s) include Ke, Yu-Chun; Huang, Hsin-Hsuan; and Liao, Guan-Jr.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A photographing optical lens assembly includes six lens elements (E1, 5 E2, E3, E4, E5 and E6) which are, in order from an object side to an image side along an optical path: a first lens element (E1), a second lens element (E2), a third lens element (E3), a fourth lens element (E4), a fifth lens element (E5) and a sixth lens element (E6). Each of the six lens elements (E1, E2, E3, E4, E5 and E6) has an object-side surface facing toward the object side and an 10 15 image-side surface facing toward the image side. The first lens element (E1) has negative refractive power. The object-side surface of the second lens element (E2) is concave in a paraxial region thereof. The image-side surface of the third lens element (E3) is concave in a paraxial region thereof."
