Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Pharmaceutical Composition For Preventing Or Treating Graft-Versus-Host Disease Containing Glp-2 Derivative Or Long-Acting Conjugate Thereof' Filed by Hanmi Pharm. Co. Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527068308 A) filed by Hanmi Pharm. Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on July 17, for 'pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating graft-versus-host disease containing glp-2 derivative or long-acting conjugate thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Kim, Won Ki; Park, Cho Rong; Ye, Byeong Jin; and Choi, Jae Hyuk.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention pertains to a prophylactic or therapeutic use of a GLP-2 derivative and/or a long-acting conjugate thereof against graft-versus-host disease. In addition, the present invention pertains to a prophylactic or therapeutic use of a combination of a GLP-2 derivative and/or a long-acting conjugate thereof and a steroid against steroid-resistant graft-versus-host disease."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 22, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/021455.
