Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Pharmaceutical Composition Comprising Enavogliflozin And Metformin' Filed by Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202537065461 A) filed by Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on July 9, for 'pharmaceutical composition comprising enavogliflozin and metformin.'

Inventor(s) include Park, Minhyung; Hwang, On; Ha, Songyi; Kim, Gyoungwon; Kim, Hoe Sung; Cho, Sangeun; and Kim, Gwan Young.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising enavogliflozin and metformin. The pharmaceutical composition, according to the present invention, makes it possible to implement an excellent preparation that provides the same level of medicinal efficacy as the combination therapy of a single tablet of metformin and a single tablet of enavogliflozin, despite a large content difference between metformin and enavogliflozin."
