MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202341087592 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Dec. 21, 2023, for 'pet descending assistive device for four-wheeler vehicles.'

The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pet descending assistive device for four-wheeler vehicles comprises of an extendable platform 1 utilize to manually attached at a rear portion of a four-wheeler vehicle via a motorized clamp 2, a camera 3 for capturing multiple images of a pet accommodated in hood of the vehicle, a weight for detecting weight of the pet, a telescopically operated bar 4 equipped with a suction cup 5 to provide support to the platform 1, a motorized roller 6 for unwrapping the sheet 7 in order to provide a ramp to the pet for descending from the platform 1, an ultrasonic sensor for detecting unevenness on the ground surface, a motorized ball joint 9 for tilting the platform 1 towards an even ground surface, a moisture sensor for detecting moisture level on the sheet 7, and a hot air blower 10 for blowing hot air on the sheet 7."
