MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517072634 A) filed by Syngenta Crop Protection Ag, Basel, Switzerland, on July 30, for 'pesticidally active heterocyclic derivatives with sulfur containing substituents.'

Inventor(s) include Sikervar, Vikas; Stoller, Andre; Hueter, Ottmar Franz; Muehlebach, Michel; and Sasmal, Swarnendu.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Compounds of the formula (I), wherein the substituents are as defined in claim 1. Furthermore, the present invention relates to agrochemical compositions which comprise compounds of formula (I), to preparation of these compositions, and to the use of the compounds or compositions in agriculture or horticulture for combating, preventing or controlling animal pests, including arthropods and in particular insects, molluscs, nematodes or representatives of the order Acarina."
