MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521110505 A) filed by Symbiosis International, Pune, Maharashtra, on Nov. 12, 2025, for 'personalized music therapy rehabilitation platform.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a personalized music therapy rehabilitation system (100) that operates in a closed loop to enhance cognitive and emotional recovery for patients with traumatic brain injury and PTSD. It comprises a user device (102) with a graphical interface to capture patient profiles, a therapy engine module (108) that generates individualized music therapy plans by selecting genre, tempo, rhythmic complexity, and session duration, and a delivery module (104) that streams music and presents synchronized cognitive exercises. A biofeedback interface module (110) acquires physiological and behavioral responses including heart rate variability, skin conductance, and task performance. An adaptive module (106) computes session response scores and updates therapy parameters, while a progress tracker module (112) stores session data and outcomes. Together, these components enable dynamic personalization, attentional entrainment, and secure continuity of care across clinical and home settings, supporting evidence-based rehabilitation through encrypted data handling and role-based access control."
