MUMBAI, India, Jan. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541122139 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 4, 2025, for 'personalized healthcare advisor system using fine-tuned language models.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Kumaresan P; and Mr. Hari Nath R.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 2, under issue no. 01/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a personalized healthcare advisor system that includes a data preprocessing module configured to convert healthcare datasets from multiple sources into a standardized format for language model training, a TinyLLaMA-1.1B language model selected for operation on graphics processing units with 4GB or less video memory, a fine-tuning module configured to adapt the TinyLLaMA-1.1B language model using Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA) techniques on healthcare datasets to generate domain-specific medical response capabilities while maintaining computational efficiency, a backend inference engine configured to load the fine-tuned model with LoRA adapter weights and generate personalized medical responses based on user profile information including demographic and medical condition data, and a frontend interface providing interactive communication capabilities to the backend inference engine. The system operates within 4GB VRAM constraints while providing personalized healthcare guidance through an eight-stage process flow."
