MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411003021 A) filed by Manoj Kumar Singh Chauhan, Sahibabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Jan. 16, 2024, for 'perslide+ slip and slide easy stocking wearing device designed to assist easily with applying compression stockings to upper and lower limbs.'

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention i.e., Perslide+ Slip and slide easy stocking wearing device are cone shaped device made of Nylon with mixed coating along with magnet button and easy to put on your legs. It assists and easily allows you to glide up compression stocking easily to upper and lower limbs. The present invention deals with applying compression stocking. It assists opens the sock and positions it to easily glide on the foot without bending down, twisting around, or reaching over. Perfect for those with limited mobility and those recovering from surgery or injury. it's very simple to use and protects your stockings from runs and tears. The Perslide+ Slip and slide easy stocking wearing device are useful aid for old age patients, pregnant women and other patients who have the limited mobility. There are so many devices for applying compression stocking i.e., stocking butler, donning aid etc. Here is an attempt to make a device which takes less time (less than 30 seconds) to wear the Compression stocking. The process of making the Perslide+ Slip and slide easy stocking wearing device is ecofriendly. This applicator is not any useful for self-use but for the para medical staff to wear patient and useful for both open and close toe compression stocking and socks."
