Inventor(s) include Amit Kumar Pandey; Prbhakar Tiwari; Keshav Pratap Yadav; Arun Kumar Srivastava; Utkarsh Shukla; Dr Pratap Kumar; Dr. Mamta Tiwari; Dr. Sakshi Dubey; and Rakesh Ranjan.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed herein is a performance analysis of energy management system for small scale hybrid wind solar battery based microgrid (100) comprises the wind-energy processing module (102) models a PMSG-based turbine by computing mechanical power, while the photovoltaic array modelling module (104) uses a single-diode circuit to determine PV output current. The battery modelling module (106) estimates instantaneous battery voltage to support reliable storage operation. Optimal harvesting of renewable energy is achieved through the MPPT control module (108), and power balance is maintained by the battery power-balancing control module (110), which evaluates net DC-link power. The DC-bus voltage regulation module (112) stabilizes the bus by generating reference battery current via PI control. For AC load supply, the voltage and frequency control module (114) provides SPWM gating signals. The AI-based energy management module (116) interprets wind, solar, SOC, and load inputs, while the performance analysis module (118) simulates diverse operating conditions."
