MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617013252 A) filed by Vmi Holland B. V., Epe, Netherlands, on Feb. 6, for 'peeler, let-off station and method for peeling off a liner and a stock material from each other.'

Inventor(s) include Kaagman, Mattheus Jacobus; Bergmans, Quinten Matthijs; and Van Den Brink, Hendrik.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a let-off station for supplying stock material to a tire building machine, wherein the let-off station (100) comprises a scraper (115) positioned along a liner path to scrape of any stock material (90) that is stuck to a lower side of a liner, wherein the scraper is positioned in a scraping position along the liner path where the liner is free to move away from the scraper at a side of the liner opposite to the scraper (115). The invention further relates to a peeler (2), a let-off station and a method for peeling off a liner (92) and a stock material (90) from each other, wherein the peeler comprises a an output roller (44) for receiving the stock material after it has been permanently separated from the liner, wherein the output roller is driven."
