According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The Play-Based Pelvic Floor Activation Mat is a floor-mounted therapeutic surface developed to support pediatric pelvic floor training through reflexive neuromuscular activation rather than conscious muscle control. The intervention is based on the principle that pelvic flo.or activation is closely linked to foot pressure distribution, balance responses, and postural alignment. The mat incorporates strategically arranged pressure-responsive zones that encourage balanced stance, controlled weight shifts, and dynamic postural adjustments during play activities. By engaging the feet and.lower limb proprioceptors, the.iilter.ventiori. facilitates automatic co-activation of the. pelvic floor and trunk musculature without requiring directinstruction or invasive feedback. The intervention is particularly suited for children who have difficulty understanding or performing voluntary pelvic floor contractions and is. designed to complement physiotherapy led continence and motor control programs."
