MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023589 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'pearl thread loom manufacturing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Dilip Kumar; and Dr. Ashutosh Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pearl thread loom manufacturing device, comprising a platform 1 positioned on a fixed surface, cylindrical members 3 for accommodating reel of threads, touch enabled screen 4 for enabling a user to give input commands for manufacturing a pearl thread loom, telescopically operated grippers 5 for gripping free-end of the of threads from the reels and engaging with plurality of hooks 6, a chamber 7 stored with needles of different sizes, first robotic arm 8 for gripping free-end of a string wrapped on a spool, a container 9 stored with pearls in multiple rows, motorized iris lid 10 to open in a successive manner, telescopically operated pusher 11 to extend for inserting row of pearls in the needle, a second robotic arm 12 for pulling the needle from a second side, motorized cutter 13 to cut the thread, and speaker 14 for notifying user to collect pearl thread loom."
