According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a passive liquid waste rerouting system for toilets, comprising: a) a sloped tray detachably attached to a toilet seat; b) a mesh; c) a lifting mechanism; and d) a collecting mechanism; wherein the sloped tray comprises a surface inclined at an angle sufficient to facilitate gravity-driven liquid waste diversion; and an outlet to allow fluid to pass through from the sloped tray into the collecting mechanism; wherein the mesh is detachably attached above the surface of the sloped tray; wherein the lifting mechanism optionally connected to the sloped tray; and wherein the collecting mechanism is configured to receive liquid waste from the sloped tray and direct it out of the system."
