MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521001851 A) filed by Matter Motor Works Private Limited, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on Jan. 8, 2025, for 'passive keyless entry system and method of operation thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure describes a Passive Keyless Entry (PKE) system (100), the system (100) comprises, a control unit (102), a wireless transmitter unit (104) communicably coupled with the control unit (102) via a wired communication medium; and a user device (106) communicably coupled with the wireless transmitter unit and the control unit via the wireless communication medium. Further, the control unit is configured to authenticate a message received from the user device (106) via at least one encryption key. Furthermore, the at least one encryption key is exchanged between the wireless transmitter unit (106) and the control unit (102) over the wired communication medium prior to transmission of the message over the wireless medium."
