MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617015062 A) filed by Duke Street Bio Limited, London, on Feb. 11, for 'parp1 inhibitor compounds.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A PARP1 inhibitor compound has a structure of (I). Each R1 and R2 is independently absent, H, or an organic group. R3 is H or an organic group. Z1, Z2u, Z2l, and each Z3 is independently C or N. At least one of Z2u and Z2l is N. L is (II) b is absent or (III). Each R5A, R5B, R5C, and R6 is independently absent, H, or an organic group. Each X1 is C or N. Each X2 is C, N, O or S. n, m, p, q r and s are each integers in the range 0 to 6. m+n, p+q, and r+s are each in the range 2 to 6. QAE, QAB, and QBC are independently absent or an alkyl, alkenyl, ester, amine, or ketone linker. The compounds are useful for e.g. treating cancer. Also provided are compositions and kits including the compounds, and methods of synthesising the compounds."
