MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006998 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'parked vehicle relocation device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Sukhpreet Kaur; Parneet Kaur; Harpreet Kaur Toor; Shriya Dogra; Sunaina; and Dr. Saurabh Chaitanya.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A parked vehicle relocation device, comprises a pair of tri-axis frame 1 configured with plurality of motorized mecanum wheels 2 for providing movement to the frames 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 for capturing and processing multiple images, a computing unit 8 that enables the user to input details, a hydraulic link 3 to regulate intermediate distance between the frames 1, an ultrasonic sensor for determining the dimensions of the vehicle, a GPS module for determining path, a pair of U- shaped platform 5 configured via L-shaped rods 6 for lifting the vehicle in a secured manner, and a speaker 7 for producing a voice notification."
