MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012511 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 21, 2024, for 'paper-based cracker launching device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A paper-based cracker launching device comprises of, a cylindrical hollow body 1 developed to be held by a user where paper-based cracker is to be burst, a touch enabled screen 2 to give input commands regarding type of the cracker to be burst, a camera 3 for selecting exact location where the cracker is to burst, a laser projection unit 4 for projecting a laser beam for guiding the user in standing and holding the body 1 at the determined location, a set of configured with iris pores 5 for storing the paper pieces of different dimensions, a set of motorized iris pores 5 to open for dispensing the paper pieces of specific size in the body 1, multiple electromagnetic springs 8 via circular plate 7 for compressing the paper pieces, and a motorized iris lid to open for launching of paper pieces out from the body 1."
