MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006598 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 31, 2024, for 'painting assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Sarabjeet Kaur; Kritika; and Anmol.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A painting assistive device, comprising a first and second cylindrical hollow bodies 1, 2 installed in a concentric manner developed to store paint, a U-shaped member 3 installed within the second body 2 accommodating paint brush, a camera 4 installed on the second body 2 detecting brush dimensions, plurality of telescopically operated links 5 each attached with a suction cup 6 securing the brush, a touch screen 7 installed on the second body 2 enabling user's input commands, an electric pump 8 installed within the first body 1 via a first vertical motorized slider 9 and attached with a conduit 10 for pumping paint, a second vertical slider 11 configured with the member 3 translating the member and a motorized stirrer 12 arranged with a circular motorized sliding unit 13 for mixing the paint optimally."
