MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013338 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 23, 2024, for 'paint bucket holding assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A paint bucket holding assistive device, comprises an elongated body 1 having a pair of curve-shaped members 2 developed to be placed on a paint bucket, a strap 3 for securing the body 1 over the paint bucket, a handle 4 configured via a motorized ball and socket joint 5 to maintain an optimum inclination angle of the body 1, a camera 6 for capturing multiple images of the bucket, a motorized roller 7 for wrapping the strap 3 in order to secure the body 1 with the paint bucket, a pair of L-shaped plates 8 for gripping the fixed surface, and a rack and pinion gear arrangement 9 for translating one of the plates 8 towards/away from other plate 8 in order to grip the fixed surface."
