MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511117038 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Nov. 25, 2025, for 'paint box lifting assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Amit Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A paint box lifting assistive device comprises of a frame 101 constructed with first and second L-shaped members 102, 103 connected with each other in a parallel manner, an input means 104 provided on one of the members enabling a user to give voice commands, an electromagnetic spring 105 configured between the members for gripping the wall of the box via pair of wedge-shaped units 106, a pressure sensor configured with each of the units for detecting pressure applied by the units over the walls of the box, one or more load sensors arranged on the units for detecting weight of the paint box, vibrating unit 107 integrated with one of the members for notifying the user and an inspection unit 108 installed on the second member for detecting level of paint in the box, alert is provided to the user via speaker 109 mounted on one of the members."
