According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A paint application assistive device, comprising, an extendable body 101, featuring a handle 102 with a cushion pad for ergonomic support, allows user positioning near a surface, a microphone 103 receives voice commands for surface finishing, a laser sensor and optical sensor provide high-accuracy distance measurements, a pneumatic unit 104 extends the body 101 to contact the surface, a protecting unit 105 comprises a rectangular plate 105a on a ball-and-socket joint 105b with multiple hinges 105c, creates a spillage barrier, a cuboidal member 106 houses a storage chamber 108 and an electronically controlled nozzle 109 for dispensing, a motorized brush 110 and a motorized sliding unit 111 ensure consistent paint application, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 115 for detecting surface orientation, a speaker 112 alert for low paint, a suction unit 113 atomizes and sprays paint, the brush 110 connects via a universal joint 114 for flexible positioning."
