MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521132266 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Dec. 26, 2025, for 'paediatric physiotherapy system.'
Inventor(s) include Papanaboyana Thulasi Hari Babu Ramani; K Shiva Krishna; S Tilak; Dr. Madhu Shukla; Simrin Fathima Syed; Vipul Ladva; Akshay Ranpariya; and Neel Dholakia.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A paediatric physiotherapy system, comprising an enclosure 101 having a user-interface inbuilt in a computing unit enables creation of child profiles with medical details, an AI-enabled camera 102 estimates age and fetches profile of the child, an augmented reality projection unit 103 displays calming and therapeutic visuals, an inspection unit mounted to a wrist strap 104 tracks alignment, shoulder symmetry, pelvic tilt, slouch patterns and monitors vital signs through a sensing suite, a therapy mat 105 detects weight and stance distribution, a synthetic thermoplastic rubber ball 106 measures compression and coordination, a balancing board standing module facilitates dorsiflexion and plantarflexion, a plurality of electromagnetic spring actuated stepping members 108 train foot alignment and balance, a pair of articulated robotic arms 109 provide stabilization, a microphone 110 and speaker 111 enable voice-based interaction and deliver real-time audio guidance."
