Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Oxadiazole Derivative Compounds, And The Pharmaceutical Composition Comprising The Same' Filed by Chong Kun Dang Pharmaceutical Corp.

MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517079377 A) filed by Chong Kun Dang Pharmaceutical Corp., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Aug. 21, for 'oxadiazole derivative compounds, and the pharmaceutical composition comprising the same.'

Inventor(s) include Lee, Jaekwang; Oh, Jung Taek; Song, Hyeseung; Lee, Jaeyoung; Nam, Hyeyeon; Kyung, Jangbeen; Kim, Jisoo; Bae, Daekwon; and Lyu, Sookyung.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a novel compound having a histone deacetylase 6 (HDAC6) inhibitory activity, stereoisomers thereof, pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, a use thereof for preparing a medicament, a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same, a preventive or therapeutic method thereof, and a method for preparing novel 1,3,4-oxadiazole oxetane derivative."

The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 27, 2024, under International application No.PCT/IB2024/051845.
