According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Oral Diascopy Kit This invention discloses a customized Oral Diascopy Kit specifically designed for performing diascopy procedures within the oral cavity to differentiate vascular lesions from non-vascular lesions. The kit comprises two transparent diagnostic components fabricated from cast clear acrylic material having a refractive index substantially comparable to that of glass, thereby ensuring adequate optical clarity for visual assessment of blanching and refilling phenomena. The first component is contoured to adapt to the palatal surface, accommodating the natural curvature and anatomical variations of the palate. This contoured design allows uniform pressure application and improved visualization of lesions located on the palatal mucosa. The second component is configured for use on other intraoral regions, including the buccal mucosa, labial mucosa, and tongue. This component is shaped to allow ease of manoeuvrability within the confined intraoral space. Both components are provided with smooth, rounded edges to prevent trauma or injury to delicate oral tissues during examination."
