According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An oral cancer screening system, comprises user-interface on a computing unit receives inputs of a user including age, gender, family medical history and lifestyle habits, at least one oral patch 101 adheres to an oral tissue surface of the user and includes a multilayer flexible patch body 101a formed of polymeric material and includes a bio-adhesive layer 101b to attach the patch body 101a to oral tissue, microfluidic channels 101c with valve guides controlled rate of saliva from an oral cavity region to a sensing region 102, a biosensor array 201 with an electrochemical biosensors, a pH sensor 201b, a thermal sensor array 201c and a bio impedance electrodes 201d detect salivary biomarkers and tissue health, an acoustic tissue analysis module with acoustic transducer 103 detects tissue stiffness, a communication interface transmit sensor data to healthcare professionals, the microcontroller computes a user cancer risk score and recommend patch use."
