According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An optoelectronic device, comprises of a first electrode, a second electrode, a hybrid material layer 104 disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, the hybrid material layer 104 comprises a surface-functionalized graphene oxide-organic hybrid material having graphene oxide sheets covalently bonded to pi-conjugated 103 organic optoelectronic molecules, and wherein the organic optoelectronic molecules are configured to absorb or emit light and the surface-functionalized graphene oxide is configured to provide a charge transport pathway, the device is selected from an organic light-emitting diode, an organic photovoltaic cell, a perovskite solar cell, or anorganic photodetector 101, the hybrid material layer 104 is configured as a hole transport layer, a hole injection layer, an electron transport layer, or an active photoactive layer within the device."
