MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517044312 A) filed by Milliken & Company, Spartanburg, U.S.A., on May 7, for 'optical brightener composition and laundry care composition comprising the same.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An optical brightener composition comprises a diaminostilbene optical brightener and a solvent system. The solvent system comprises an ester of an organic acid and a polyol. The optical brightener composition facilitates the handling and dosage of the diaminostilbene optical brightener in, for example, the manufacture of laundry care compositions."
