MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527123414 A) filed by Towardpi Medical Technology Ltd., Beijing, on Dec. 8, 2025, for 'ophthalmic operating microscope system.'

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application provides an ophthalmic operating microscope system, comprising a magnification changing module, a lens barrel module and an ocular lens module which are sequentially arranged from an object plane to an image plane along a main optical axis. The lens barrel module comprises a lens barrel and an optical path conversion device arranged at the end of the lens barrel close to the magnification changing module, and the optical path conversion device comprises an ocular anterior segment optical path converter and an ocular posterior segment optical path converter. When the ocular anterior segment optical path converter is moved into a main optical path, light reflected by the object plane is transmitted through the magnification changing module to the ocular anterior segment optical path converter in a first direction, then continuously reflected twice by means of the ocular anterior segment optical path converter and then transmitted through the lens barrel to the ocular lens module in a second direction; and/or when the ocular posterior segment optical path converter is moved into the main optical path, the light reflected by the object plane is transmitted through the magnification changing module to the ocular posterior segment optical path converter in the first direction, then continuously reflected for three times by means of the ocular posterior segment optical path converter, and then is transmitted through the lens barrel to the ocular lens module in the second direction."
