MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517099148 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Oct. 14, for 'operating method of apparatus in wireless communication system, and apparatus using same method.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided are an operating method of an apparatus in a wireless communication system, and an apparatus using the method. The method comprises determining a size of a transport block (TB) and transmitting the TB having the size from each slot of a plurality of slots on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). Here, the plurality of slots comprises a full duplex (FD) slot capable of simultaneously performing an uplink operation and a downlink operation by using different frequency bands in a slot, and a half duplex (HD) slot capable of performing an uplink operation or a downlink operation in a slot, and the size is determined on the basis of a value obtained by applying a scaling factor to the "total number (NRE) of resource elements assigned for the PUSCH" determined on the basis of a physical resource block (PRB) transmitted from the HD slot."
