The system (100) comprises a mmWave radar sensor for privacy-preserving occupancy and micro-motion detection, environmental sensors for temperature, humidity, and ambient light, a processing unit, a control unit, an energy monitoring unit, and a cloud data and analytics platform. Sensor data is processed locally and transmitted to the cloud, where artificial intelligence and machine-learning models predict occupancy, analyze comfort, and recommend appliance control actions. The method (200) enables dynamic control of HVAC, lighting, and workstation power systems. The invention reduces energy wastage while maintaining occupant comfort through scalable and intelligent automation."
