MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006931 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 1, 2024, for 'object unloading assistive device for vehicles.'
Inventor(s) include Ramandeep Singh Deorda; Ravinder Singh; Prateek Ranjan; and Saumil Aggarwal.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An object unloading assistive device for vehicles, comprising a cylindrical body 1 positioned on a rear end of vehicle, two ultrasonic sensors detects distance between lateral end and walls, a telescopic rod 3 extends and positions two suction units 2 near walls for affixing body 1 with walls, a computing unit accessed by a user to input commands for loading objects, a motorized roller 4 rotates and unwraps a sheet 5 which is laid over floor of carriage by two omnidirectional wheels 6 installed on end portion of sheet 5, a speaker 7 notifies user for accommodating objects, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 8 detects disarrangement of objects, a vibration unit 9 produces vibrating sensations to evenly disperse objects, and if the user is desiring to unload the object then wheels 6 and roller rotate in reverse direction for wrapping sheet 5 to unload objects from carriage portion."
