MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411014331 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'object transportation assistive system.'
Inventor(s) include Rajdeep Singh; Rachin Goyal; Ravinder Singh; and Piyush Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An object transportation assistive system, comprises of a pair of platforms 1 connected with each other via multiple U-shaped members 2 in contact with side walls of trolley of a vehicle loaded with object to be transported via the vehicle, multiple suction unit paired with multiple suction cups 3 installed on each of the platforms 1 for generating a vacuum pressure underneath the suction cups 3, a speaker 9 for notifying the user regarding the falling condition of the object, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 mounted on one of the platforms 1 for capturing and processing multiple images of the object, and multiple motorized sliders 5 for translating the members 2 towards inside/outside of the trolley in view of allowing accommodation of the object in an appropriate manner."
